It's very exciting to watch episodes. However, one youtube channel that previously uploaded several (hundreds) of TLC episodes (Duggars, Cake Boss, Gosselins, etc) was recently taken down by youtube due to serious copyright infringement. I understand that viewing something that someone else put up isn't exactly illegal.
However, it would be wise to simply go to TLC's website and purchase seasons 1-3. They're cheap-and then the right people are compensated for their hard work and allowing all the world to peek into their lives. Perhaps you can post a link to TLC's store. Thanks for posting that article link. According to the article, "DMCA states that it is up to the copyright holder to notify YouTube on copyright infringements (i.e. takedown notice). This means that if no copyright holder contacts YouTube, then YouTube has no legal obligation to takedown the copyrighted material."
We have contacted a TLC spokesperson who does not see any harm in our blog linking to these videos. That being said, you definitely have to follow your own conscience.

Having the links posted on Lily and Ellie's site is much nicer because we are not fond of "browsing" YouTube to find them. Now we have a tidy site to refer friends to who would like to see episodes.
We purchase our new seasons via iTunes and so own our episodes, however it is nice to see the earlier ones. I appreciate the way Lily and Ellie keep finding ways to make their website user-friendly. Many of the Duggars' viewers are much like them and don't own network tv and are judicious of their online viewing. Thanks a lot, ladies, for making it easier.

Thankyou for posting these. I also have a problem with episodes appearing then disappearing on youtube. I can't buy the DVDs, as one poster suggested, as they aren't released for Region 4. I also can't purchase them on itunes as, again, they aren't available to people in Australia.
To the last poster,
We are Americans living in Italy and the Duggar episodes are not available for purchase via Itunes. However, we were able to purchase the episodes by switch the country settings on Itunes from Italy to America. I'm not sure if you can switch your country setting from Australia to America, but it's worth a shot.

Wow, I can't believe I found this blog. I am so impressed how you have all this. I own all the DVD's I could get and we just finished 29 kids and counting that just came out. But to see that we can watch the originals and the latest ones that are not out? So excited. Annonymus 24, I live in Victoria Australia and I have managed to purchase seasons 1 to 4 of the Duggars thru either Amazon or as I have just noticed, Christianbook.com have them available as well. You cannot buy them from TLC as they dont ship Dvd's to Australia. So don't be discouraged! Also call the maker of your dvd player and see if they have a special code or some other means to change your dvd player to a multi region player. Failing that, just buy another dvd player! lol. The other thing to note is. When looking to buy 17 kids and counting is that there are two types. One copy of 17 kids and counting only has the tv show episodes on it. The other one has the original specials on it AND the first tv episodes as well. You can tell the difference because the dvd with the original specials as a bonus feature has a yellow strip at the bottom of the front cover on the dvd. Hope this helps and encourages other international fans.

We're not 100% sure but are thinking that the episode you are referring to is "Schoolhouse Duggars." Unfortunately, that is one of the few episodes that is not on YouTube.

You probably already know this, but I thought with all the comments you have to reply to I thought this might help: At least on my blog you can click the "reply" button under the comment and it will show up directly under the comment you were to replying to, no matter what time you reply at. We really all should be asking TLC to put the other seasons on home DVD, I've emailed them about it and they could only tell me that there weren't any plans at this stage. If we all email though perhaps they'll do it, for those of us overseas we can't view any of the episodes after season 4 unless it's on youtube, which just isn't the same as having your own copy at home!
Totally agree annonymous 67! I emailed them about season 5 coming out on dvd and i got the same response! so annoying.
I hope the season six episodes get uploaded on YouTube soon so that I can watch them online just in case I miss some of them on TV.
You can buy a season pass on iTunes for only $13.99 (it lets you watch the whole season 6, it also has a season pass for I think $20 that's high def but I got the cheaper one and it looks great on screen). Worth it in my opinion to be able to watch them right after they air instead of waiting for them to show up on youtube.

The Duggars will return, but TLC has not yet announced when. So far, there are only nine episodes in season six, and past seasons have contained as many as thirty to forty episodes. The network does not start a new season every time the Duggars go on break, which means that when the show returns, it will likely be an extension of season six.

Hi, I am looking for the episode in which Jill (I think it was Jill)teaches her younger brothers Jingle Bells on real bells. I think it was in the 17 kids and counting series but I have looked through the episodes (especcially the O come all ye duggars episode)and I couldn't find it. It might have been a very small segment of the show but maybe somebody knows. Hope you can help me.

Hello! I'm not sure if you are the ones actually uploading the episodes, but did you know that the very first special (14 Kids and...) has the tater tot caserole part cut out? I know their recipe is posted online and in their books, but I was really looking forward to seeing them do it in this special.

Every time I try to watch an episode on daily motion I get audio, but no video. I don't have this problem on youtube or hulu or anywhere else. Anyone know how to fix it? I tried creating an acct and logging in, but still no go, refreshing the page doesn't do it either. Help.

Problem mostly solved...I installed google chrome and the daily motion videos work w/that browser when they didn't on firefox...I have no idea why, I'm just glad I don't have to miss any episodes!

If anyone is interested this show prompted me to find more modest swimwear for my girls. I find the Wholesome Wear a bit over the top - I don't want them to draw unecessary attention. So I did some googling & found this site: http://www.clswimdesigns.com/index.html

Just wanted to say thank you so much! i have heard of the Duggars before (come on, who hasn't?) but have never really watched any of their episodes. This week i've become hooked! i've fallen in love with the Duggar family! I watch several episodes every night before bed...it makes me so sad to see comments from people who dislike this family just because of the amount of kids they have. Children are a blessing from God! And His hand is obviously on this family! Their love for Jesus and each other shines through and is a witness to everyone! I am a teenager who desires to be married one day, and when God gives me a husband, i want a big family because of their inspiration (although not QUITE as big haha).
About a week and a half ago i began rethinking modesty, and i felt convicted to change my wardrobe. i threw out all my jeans, and only wear skirts now. i go to a public high school, so alot of people don't understand why i made the switch. Stumbling across the Duggars just doubled my determination to carry this through though because of their strong example in high moral values.
Sorry for the length, but i really wanted to express this. Thank you and God bless everyone involved in this website for their efforts, and bless the Duggars for their faithful dedication.
