When we spoke with Jill Duggar in early June, she announced that her family would soon be traveling to San Antonio, Texas, for a conference. The Reformation of Food and the Family Conference took place in July and was a huge success. We have added a few photos of the event, courtesy of Vision Forum Ministries. I know this isnt related, but I really wish I could ask Anna a question. I want to know how she was able to move states away from her family. She must have been close to them. How does she handle such limited contact after having been so close?

Lily and Ellie, did the entire Duggar family attend the conference. The reason I am asking is Michelle's parentables article
about embarrasing her daughters-seems like they were in a car instead of the family bus. So I am thinking that it may have only been Michelle and her young adult daughters and Joy who attended

I noticed on the pictures that Michelle has a patch or a large bandage on her left arm by the sleeve, I sure hope she's feeling ok !!!

I can't speak for Anna although I can mention some things for my moves. When you grow up expecting to go where your husband works/lives it is just something you know you have to deal with. If your husbands family is nearby and you get along well that is a plus --automatic friends, unlike moving away for a job when you both are new to the area.
Also it is so much easier to stay close with today's technology -- most people have free weekend or unlimited phone service, you-tube or other video, text messages, ect ( when I first moved we could only write letters. Long distance phone was only for emergencies. It worked but there was a lot of wait time)

Do you know if the Duggars wear earings? I have never seen them with earings, but then I have not seen all of their shows. Do they also paint their nails? Thanks for posting and keeping up this blog. I love this blog because we do not have cable so then I have to wait to watch them on YouTube. =(

I heard maybe a rumor that the duggars were on the today show today. Anybody else hear this or know anything about it. I couldn't find anything online where they had been.
