If Santorum doesn't start picking up delegates at a miraculous rate, he and Gingrich both need to drop out because it will get to a point where they are both hurting the Republican party. As it is, Santorum would never be able to beat Obama because he has alienated so many Democratic women, they would line up in droves to vote against him. In fact, if Santorum wins the nomination (and my bet is that Romney will win it no matter how long the other two stay in the race), I think that would be a sure bet that Obama will get re-elected.
Do you know if they will be with him at any other stops in Illinios? I know MIchelle is speaking at conference in Normal. Thanks for your help!
