Myths of Growing Up Duggar

We watch them on TV every week, but what is it really like to grow up Duggar? Is there enough love and attention to go around? Do the older children enjoy taking care of their younger siblings, or does it just appear that way on camera? Hear what the kids have to say about individuality, socialization, living in the public eye, and new babies.

Enjoy this interview with Rebecca Dube from NBC Today Moms:

  5. I love listening to the Duggars' book A LOVE THAT MULTIPLIES in my car. What an inspiration !
I pray God will give me some of that wonderful patience and self-control that the Duggars possess.
I pray the Duggars never go off TV. They are a godly influence in a dark world.

  6. This was so nice! Those girls are gorgeous, and it just gives me that much more respect for the family. I don't get why people can hate them so much. It's really sad that people can't see past their own misconceptions about people.

  8. Hi Lily and Ellie!
Do you know if TLC will continue showing episodes on Tuesdays after the last Duggar World Tour special? For instance, they will start showing them on Tuesdays on December 6th.

  9. Hi Bayley!

After the World Tour is over (a total of three episodes), there will still be plenty of reruns. We don't yet know when the new season will start. We will post it when we find out.

    Have a blessed weekend.

  10. I was so excited to hear there was a 20th child on the way. They are amazing parents and it shows. I am not sure why there are so many people against them. I couldn't do 20, but they show it's possible and the kids can still grow up even healthier and more stable then most. Can't wait to see more :D

  12. When people that I know say that they think that the Duggars are too restrictive or give their kids too much responsibility and not enough freedom, I ask them who they think is happier, Jill Duggar or Janelle Evans (teen mom)Happiness comes from love, a sense of pride and accomplishment, and being around good people. The love that the Duggars show is inspiring.

  13. I love the Duggars and am so happpy about #20! I agree with the poster who said JULIANNE would be a nice name. My father was a wonderful Christian man. He loved the Lord. His name was JULIAN and we named our daughter JULIANA for him!

  15. I really enjoy watching this show but I question why young adults in their 20's are not allowed to go shopping or out to dinner with with the man they plan to marry without taking a 3rd person with them . I do not understand why there is no trust.
