Josh, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph. Do you notice a pattern? Ever wonder why the Duggar kids' names all start with the same letter? You may be surprised to hear that Jim Bob and Michelle did not set out to have a brood of children with "J" names.
As new parents, they fell in love with the name Joshua, after the courageous biblical character. Nearly two years later, Jim Bob and Michelle were blessed with twins. The two names that they chose, Jana and John-David, just happened to start with the letter "J." Not knowing how many more children God would give them, the young couple decided to name their next child, Jill, with a "J" name as well, just in case she was their last.
As their family grew, Jim Bob and Michelle continued the tradition so that none of their children would feel left out. The family has had a lot of fun choosing unique "J" names over the years; everyone likes to join in on the action!

Jacob Jack for a boy
I've always liked the name Jana...I knew a girl by that name when I was younger, and I think her family was originally from the South. I think it suits Jana Duggar to a tee!
Oh, I thought that you were asking what Duggar "J" names we like the best. Jana, Jackson and Johannah are still my favorites. For a boy: I like Judson, Justin, and James. I know that two of those are the Duggar boy names, but I still like them. For a girl: I like Julie Rose, Juliana, and Jane.
mine favorite j names has to be jake, jack, jacob, joy, jason, james, justin
My name is Jolene and during the 1980's I knew many classmates with J names. I also like Jubilee and Joyhannah (as opposed to Johannah).
We had three children before we realized there was a pattern with their names. They each had a K in their names somewhere...quite by accident too! So, when the 4th child came along we had to give her one as well...and now we're going on #5 and he, too, will have a K name in there somewhere.
I love the classical names: Jane and Jack
Yea, but what about the Josh Duggar family? What's his excuse? LOL
I love Jonah
I think that Josh and Anna chose M to honor Michelle.
They didn't plan on sticking with M with Michael.
I personally hope Josh and Anna pick whatever names they like, with no pattern following.
It's so strange, "J", in my experience, is the letter I hear most often in repeat letter names families.
My 2nd childs name is Joshua and he is a J.R. so of course I love that name. And I love how they used Jinger with a J, very unique. I wish I would have thought to stick with 1 letter for all of my children.
My daughters middle name is Jolie! I know it means "pretty" in French, but it's mine and my husband's first names combined: Johnny+Hollie. :)

My kids all have J middle names - James, Josephine, and Jarrissa. Jarrissa was supposed to be Jarrett, which means brave, but she turned out to be a girl - so we feminized it.
Back in March 1923, my parents, Jim & Josephine married. They gave birth to Joyce in Dec. 1923, Jasmine in 1925, Jessie in 1927 and James Roderick,Jr. in 1929. Sadly he was stillborn.
In 1939 they gave birth to another daughter, Josephine who was immediately nicknamed Joy.
In 1968, Joy gave birth to a son, on her father's birthday & named him James Roderick after her father. In 1979 Jim died and James played TAPS for his grandfather's funeral.
I like the name Joy Anna & Jubilee.
My middle name is jolene my sons middle name is Justin and my daughter is named Jamie Irene after my grandfather James and my grandmother Irene.
I like the boys' names Jonathan, Josh, Jake, and Jay. For a girl I love Jessica, Jeanette, and Jinger.
I like Jamillah which means "Beautiful" in Arabic.
You need to mix things up and stop with J names
