Congratulations, John-David! I bet Jackson's impressed with your badge :)
Nicely done John-David. As a fellow peace officer up here in Canada I trust you'll enjoy fulfilling your new duties and that The Lord will keep you well.
Great news about John-David's becoming a constable. You must be very proud of your son as you are with all your children. God bless you all.Rosemary Bowler of Western Australia.
Mark my spontaneous comment :)- this will not be the first "Wow!" this family makes. I'm sure as more of the children grow older we will all be amazed at what career paths unfold. Imagine 19 children 'serving' as messengers for christ in many corners of many communities. Oh, and Hi there Rosemary Bowler of WA!, I'm an Aussie too.
Congratulations John-David, you must be taking after your father as he was involved in the community before you. I'm sure this is a big responsibility but been the second eldest son, you know a lot about responsibility and you are probably going to shine in this. Well done John-David
Folks, please pray for Jen Fulwiler, a wonderful Christian mom who's been married nine years and is pregnant with her 6th child. She has developed pulmonary embolisms in both lungs, and it's a very dangerous situation. She is not having surgery due to her pregnancy.

Keeping the peace sounds like a worthy job to have, congratulations! Howe er, I agree with anonymous on the swearing issue. The Bible says we should not swear but let our yes be yes and no be no. I wonder if john david had a problem with being "sworn in"?

Congrats John! I am sure you will do a great job :)
I woldn`t have any of the Duggars expect to be sworn in. In all other respects they really take care, what the Bible says.
So why not in this case?
Congratulations! So happy for you John!

Interesting... police careers don't require post-secondary education down there in Arkansas?
