Duggars' Life Verses (Part 5/5)

Thank Goodness It's Friday! Any special plans for the weekend?
If you have been following the blog all week, you have been reading about the Duggars' life verses.

Let's do a quick recap, and then we will reveal the last three!
(Click on each of the names below to read the corresponding verse.)

Michelle: 2 Corinthians 2:19
Jim Bob and Joseph: Romans 8:28
Josh and Anna: Matthew 6:33
Jana: Proverbs 3:5-7
John-David: Philippians 4:13
Jill: Psalm 91
Jinger: Colossians 3

Eighteen-year-old Jessa finds encouragement in 1 Timothy 4:12:
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
~1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJV)

When the going gets rough for almost-fifteen-year-old Josiah, he looks to James 1 (click here to read).

And last, but surely not least, Joy-Anna, a newbie teenager, finds comfort and inspiration in Revelation 22:21, the last verse in the Bible.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
~Revelation 22:21 (NKJV)

  1. Weekend plans? Keeping track of my friends from Virginia, Maryland, Penna., New York, Conn, Mass., New Hamp., and Maine and the damage they and all the others are going to face. Both Philly and NYC are shutting down their public transport systems. NYC on mandatory evacuations in places. Philly telling people not to leave pets behind but to bring them to the shelters. At least with hurricanes there is plenty of advanced notice. Please keep the east coast in your prayers.

  5. Hi all,
We here in Virginia Beach are doing well, and our plans are to hunker down, and get through Irene with faith and prayer. I have bible studies on my phone :so the kids, and I will be doing that. Their dad has to stay at the navel base where he works in the air terminal.

  6. Seeds Family Worship do some great bible verses set to music - and 1 Timothy 4:12 is one of them... I have my sunday school club in school learning this by heart (we use TNIV so the wording is very slightly different) - they do pleanty of other verses too and if you struggle to memorise - try doing it to music.

  7. The Bible chapters I love to read are Psalms 23, 2 Cor. chapter 13, and John 3:16. I find comfort knowing Jesus stands with me always.
