If I had just given birth 8 days earlier, I would have a party at home. Just the closest of family and friends, potluck style. It's a total blessing to visit with loved ones, and not having to cook is a bonus!
Since it's just a little over a week from giving birth, I would say SLEEP! lol And, maybe have some take-out brought to her from her favorite restaurant. God bless her and give her restoration.
If I were Anna and had an 8 day old precious new blessing on my birthday, I would want to spend the day with my little one, but also get some much needed sleep! Hope you're resting Anna!

Well poor Anna is probably exhausted from two babies. So, i would ask Josh to order a pizza and take a nap (of i was her). Happy birthday, Anna!

If I were Anna, I would ask one of my sisters-in-law to watch my daughter for the evening and have Josh bring me takeout from Olive Garden. :~)

I'm not sure where to post this, but I have a question for the Duggars! How do you handle meal planning and grocery lists in your household? Do you plan for days, weeks or a month at a time? Or do you just decide when you wake up each day?

I like simple things for gifts... so probably I would spend time with my family .. a special dinner and cake... and just time with them...

I think I would spend time with family and friends! She is so blessed to have a great husband and such cute kids at twenty three. Only a very few twenty three year old's I know can say that. I think she is a good role model for Christian girls who are staying pure until marriage.

That is a great question! We don't have the complete answer but will be sure to write it down for the next time we interview the Duggars. We do know that the older girls enjoy doing much of the meal prep/planning. They do plan meals ahead of time, especially when the family is entertaining guests.

Happy Birthday Anna!! I watch the birth of Michael James it was so wonderful. He was born on my daughter Mariah's birthday. She turned 19. Your children are so beautiful.
