  2. It's been years, but I went downhill skiing once. And hated it!! Now I'm too scared to try again. I did used to enjoy cross country skiing though.

I can't wait to see the new shows this season!

  3. I love to ski. I went first many years ago with a highschool youthgroup. I thought I wouldn't like it. I started on the baby / bunny slope and by the end of the day went down the expert slope twice. The only bad part was the next day when my legs hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I hope they had a good time.

When we took the kids skiing, my youngest was just 10 months old so I hung out at the lodge with him and my then 6 year old daughter. We had fun even though we didn't go skiing. :)

  10. We went skiing in PA for our senior class trip, many years ago. Most of us had never skied before and spent out time falling off the J-bar lift (a tow-bar that hauls you up the lower slopes with your feet on the ground) Those who would manage to get to the top would then fall down trying to get off it :D Was lots of fun anyway. Have done a little skiing since.

  13. It is too expensive! Did the ski resort host them (such as on the John & Kate Plus Eight series)?

  16. It is a little hard to find snow in South Australia,I have to travel interstate, but I have skied, the last time I tried I had to sacrifice myself to avoid taking out an instructor and 10 of his students! Fantastic fun though
